A mirror questoin
Was riding down the highway the other day when I saw a white Shark parked outside a scrap yard [Thankfully it was OUTSIDE] It was a plastic bumper, with Stingray badges. However on the way home, I noticed that it had TWO, plastic mirrors and not one driver side metalic one.
Is it just unoriginal? I thought the two mirrors didn't come until 77.....??
Could someone please help me with this, I can't figure it out and its driving me :crazy:

You could get them as a dealer installed option. Also lots of places mad/corvet central zip etc...sell them now. I installed passenger side mirror on my 74. :cheers:

Jerry-What are some other ways to determine if its a 77, the only ones I knew were no badges and the mirrors. I don't know all the differences for the 74-77's.
Dailey Driver-I didn't get a great look at them, but they just looked like Rallye Rims from the road.

'74 had the split rear bumper.
'74-'76 had round nose & gas door emblems, versus the crossed flags.
The center console changed in '77 also: standard radio, levers instead of wheels for climate control, windshield wiper control on turn signal stalk instead of console.
I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting.
