Cam Timing Issue
I am starting to reconstruct my engine. The cam has the pin at 9 o'clock, which is the way I removed the old cam. I had rotated the engine with #1 at TDC and the distributor was at #1.
Most books show some pictures with the pin at 3 o'clock and the dots line up. When I use that method it puts the #1 valves rocking when #1 piston is up.
What do you think?
