:-(*^ Power locks :-(*&$%%# A/C
I have already replace the left door pigtail. I think I have a short in one of the switch's. So being they are 30 years old. I'll change everything. One more pigtail and two door lock switch's.While I have the clove box out. I noticed that on top of the heater box there is a water cutoff switch. On this switch is a spring loaded button and 2 vacuum lines one black and one white. There is a cable connected to a gate. This cable connects to the A/C control on the console. When I push the **** to heat. The gate is pushed away from the water cutoff switch. On the gate bracket there is a small contact pad. So when I pull the leaver to the cold position it stops when it slightly touches the spring loaded button. If I adjust this cable so that the Pad presses against and depresses the button all the way. What would it do to my SO SO A/C???
Disconnect the switches and the lock actuators and see what it does, that will eliminate the components of the lock system and tell you if it is wires or components
