Stahl may be your best bet. I've got Hooker sidepipes and they're 2-1/8" primaries. No idea what size Stahl uses as standard, but they may do custom sizes too.

Depends on cam and RPM range for header size. Ck with PEF427 here on the Forum. He can walk you through getting a tall deck to fit with raised ports heads. He just put a 598" in his '68. Not too bad..but takes a little work.

What heads will it be and how high are ports raised?

If you are going all out racing, & that 582 is making 800+hp, then you will have to get some made.
Stahl & Lemons are both excellent.
If your motor is a total street motor, dont worry too much about the tube size.
A good 2" is probably OK if thats what you already have, although you will lose some top end.
If you are buying new ones, Hooker makes a 2 1/8" header that is a lot cheaper than going custom.
