Engine Replacement
Last November I replaced my engine with a stock crate motor from Jasper. It is a 1982 corvette collector edition.
I only have about 10K on the new motor. But I have been thinking about replacing my motor with a 383.... ok i admit I want it all and I want it now.......I want more power.....does anyone know a good place to procure a new engine all set up ready to drop in?
Also what would be a good price to spend for one......

There are several options. One that I found and seemed to be well liked here was DPM. You can find them on the web. 383's start at around $4k without carb, exhaust or ignition. I spoke with them about a 350 awhile back. They will use your parts if you ship them to them to perform the dyno. They also have no problem allowing you to watch the dyno if you like. They seemed like a good bunch of folks.
