Battery Charge, for Cam Break-In ?
Can I start and break-in a new motor without the Alternator connected ?
Will the fully charged Battery be sufficent to run the motor for 30 minutes without the Alternator ?

As long as you don't drag down the battery voltage by not having your engine firing right away,you'll be fine.I would be more concerned with keeping the temp down,chances are you won't get in 30 minutes without overheating.Also be sure to roll it outside,those fumes are killers on the eyes!

yes - you can check the voltage as you go, if you have time; or if engine starts to miss, turn it off
