Default Cowl Hoods

Looking for a 4" cowl hood. Stock hood is to close to put a Holley carb on, has a Weiand Team G manifold. Any ideas who makes hoods?

I recently rebuilt mine with a Weiand Team G 7531 Intake and a 3" filter and had the same problem. I got my hood from Ecklers. It's the Hi-Rise Design Item # 10420. It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks really good on the car and I still have a little over an 1" at the closest point.

There is company on Ebay that is selling a 5" rise hood (search corvette hood). Many of the aftermarket companies sell a 1 to 2 inch highrise hoods. Plus there is always the L88 hoods.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of grafting another cowl scoop to the original on the car. But I don't want to down the car just yet.
