Default Corvette specific water pumps ?

I had the Stewart Stage 11 pump on my 406ci and was looking for a water pump for my 427ci. The Stewart pump is made specifically for our C3's as the pulley spacing is different from a short water pump and a long water pump, it's somewhere in between or shorter than a short pump I don't know.

Anyway I would like to what other water pumps work on our C3's

I have a chrome Eckler's Corvette pump that came out of a '74, with pulley.

Obviously shipping won't be fixed to Canada.

I am using a Moroso Aluminum water pump 63505. haven't had any issues with it, but I hear the Stewart pumps are excellent pumps.

Regarding 71 & up C3 sbc:

C3's combo of pulley's & brackets required a different spacing between wp hub to block ... so they have a different, vette-specific wp.

Many of the performance wp have a hub with a set screw ... those you can adjust the hub's position on shaft ... you can make it a short or a vette or in-between. Also, most C3 wp pulley & fanclutch have a 3/4" pilot hole & use a 3/4" wp pilot shaft or a spacer-bushing w/ 5/8" pilot shaft.

Most aftermarket "fancy" chrome or aluminum vbelt pulleys don't have same dimensions as OE C3 ... & may be 5/8" or 3/4" ... most are for a short wp ... a few are for a long. Dang near everyone who's bought a pair of aluminum pulleys for their C3 found out they don't fit right without some mods.

Weiand also makes quality performance wp ... both short and vette-specific. W Action+ is street-strip stuff while W Team G is race ... both are very good.

Thanks, they have the Team-G in stock, it does need a spacer that is an extra cost but that is in stock too. Will the Team-G work for a street application ?

Yes my Team G worked for street ... it is short & I adjusted via hub setscrew. But the wp pulley spacer shims work fine also ... they're usually in 1/16" & 1/8" increments.

March is the only maker of aftermarket pulleys that I have seen with pulleys made specifically for Corvettes.
