Default Brake pad question

I am busy installing my calipers after rebuilding, etc. Had the front spindle assembly totally broken down and cleaned, repainted, etc. After installing the caliper and the pads on the caliper, i noticed the spacing between the pads and the rotor is not even when the pistons are fully retracted. Is the normal? It seems like the rotor is not centered between the pistons.

Front Left wheel
The runout on the rotor is ~.002
Largest spacing between pad and rotor = ~.125
Smallest spacing between pad and rotor = ~.025

Thanks
