articles on sb to bb conversion 80 L82
I am anxious to lesrn more about converting my 1980 L82 to a 502.Does anybody have any info.My 1980 is white with blue pearl and mother of pearl ghost flames. The only real mod so far is a new black interior , shaved door handles and rear spoiler.It now needs some thunder!I once owned a '67 427 roadster and will never forget the bb feel. :mad

Gonna (hopefully) do that upgrade on my 71. My car took a BB from the factory, but I know that your 80 has a different crossmember from my car. You will need to put in the older crossmember and some different motor mounts, but after that I don't know. Make sure that tranny will survive! Mine is a TH400 so I should be O.K. I will be on the lookout for you!

First of all Welcome to Forum :seeya Second they are a couple of forum members that have done that conversion hope they see your post to let you know exactly what you need... to do it. My conversion was some what simple I just bought everything for a 74' BB Vette to make it work...also wound up using SB engine mounts. :D
