Default Rear sway bar clearance

I have a stock style 5/8" rear sway bar that I'm thinking of using on my 69. Right now it isn't mounted. Will this bar create a clearance issue running 255 50 17 tires on a 8" wheel in the rear?

No, that size should be fine. I've ran that size tire with a rear sway bar and had no clearance issues.

I'm running 285/40 17's on 17x9 wheels with 4" backspace. Stock trailing arms, no relocated parking bracket, stock everything. There's enough room to throw a cat around the wheel/tire/spring/sway bar/frame.

Default Would you post a picture of that combo?

I'm leaning twords the 255 50 to get the full 27" well filling size. I haven't pulled the triggeer on rims and tire yet though.

I'm tentatively planning 17x8 with a 4" BS set of Vintage wheel works V48s and 255 50 17 tires on all 4 corners.
