Im looking for someone to rebuild a 427 to original specs in the Pittsburgh PA area. Im sure I can find any shop to do it but Im looking for someone that a forum member has used or at least one that someone has had experience with in the past.
My brother races every week at Pittsburgh Raceway Park with a guy named Mark Brewer. He owns Motorworks on South Broad St. in Greenburgh. He has built hundreds of engines for hard core racers and everyone knows him. His reputation is top notch. He only does Ford engines and Big Block Chevy's. he has over 20 years experience. His wife and son also race every week. His collection of Ford race cars would make you drool His number is 724 832 9744 Just tell him Brian Berg's brother Max sent you.

I grew-up 1 block away from Mark Brewer, and helped him move some equipment into that shop at 1020 S. Broad Street, directly underneath the Rt. 30 bypass, in the mid-'80s:
(I believe the West-side of his shop, facing traffic from 'da Burgh, is White, and once had 'MOTORWORKS' spelled-out in Bright Red, so you can't miss it)
I think he has even told people that I'm the guy who got him interested in racing at what was then 'Keystone Raceway Park' in the early-'80s (he was Track Champion in '86, and has turned wrenches for many other Champions at the track in New Alexandria), and my stop at the shop was my last 'goodbye' visit when I vacated Taxylvania almost 2 years ago.
