Radiator Removal
I know you need to take off the hood.
I read that you don't have to take off the fan and you can leave the shroud resting on the fan/waterpump.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
actually you have to leave the fan/shroud on there...well you don't have too, but its how i did it, and it seemed easier
first look for the drain plug on the passangers side down by the bottom radiator hose, if there isn't one, you can remove the bottom hose but watch out, cus it'll come out crazylike...After its drained(this will take a while if you do the drain plug), remove the upper and lower hoses, and be careful of trapped coolant in the hoses...
....then just remove the shroud mounting bolts(should be 2 total), and rest it on the fan, then remove the top radiator mounting brackets(should be 4 bolts total), and vuala, you can pull the radiator out at the same angle that the radiator support is at(duh)...just watch the bottom hose neck thingy, so it doesn't get caught on something.
Oh and PS. don't get caught up in "while Im at it", like me...

Well its really a reverse of a while Im at it...I started out to clean up and repaint, and am ending up doing lots of repairs and replacing parts.

I would rather take the fan and shoud off to avoid messing with the hood.
