Default I need a chrome plater

Shops out here confuse this with gold plating. Not looking for triple super duper plated **** retentive perfect, just somethign "good", presentable. Equivalent to repop stuff

Thought you C3 peeps might know of a small shop you trust or a favorite.

Anyone ? If I have to ship I will. checked a few motorcycle shops too, same thing.

Great work - but not cheap.

If you are dead set on somewhere less than a show quality job, you need to keep looking. Most shops that are still plating anything will probably want to "do it right" rather than do a flash chrome job.

You might try QUALITY PLATING in Belleville, IL. Old time mom/pop shop I have talked to them several times on the phone can't do a front bumper or sideexhaust (tanks ain't big enough)but can handle the other stuff. Great people to talk to and will send you somewhere else if you need big stuff done. Number 618-233-4808GOOD LUCK wro87

In Oyster bay NY there's a harley preformance shop 2 brothers run. I think it's called something like V-twins or twinV .I can find out if you really need, but these guys are 2nd to none. They match existing chrome colorations they really know their ****. Personally I love browns chroming I used them on 2 different bike they have the best chrome low maintance on pitting too ,Only problem is thier chrome dark I hear it's cause they use a heavy nickle / copper prior to plating.

Just have some small parts and two trim pieces.
Some phone #s would be cool....

I noticed my orignal back bumper is a darker chrome than the front (repop)...Strange.

I'm not sure where Chatsworth is, but there is a place in San Carlos (Bay Area) that isn't rediculously expensive. If you're semilocal, at least you could save on shipping.

Didn't post the name because I couldn't remember

Did a search and couldn't find it. The old owner thought that the EPA would drive them out of business. Apparently, it has. I did find one in Sacramento though:
