Default frame question

well i have a 69 i want to sell to a friend who needs the frame for his 67 so all i have is a question will the69 frame work on the 67 ?

I may be wrong but i think the only difference is the 69 has the angle supports at the kick ups and the 67 doesnt

i think thats correct i think there are a few blind holes that dont have threads for the straps

Yep, You would be wrong. Along with some extra bracing etc., the front horns and the rear are very different.

can it be done easily or is a pain in the but ?is it just a few mods on the ends of frame or different totaley? the guy that needs it has good skills and so do I

i just dont want to take apart the 69 to find it will be more work than its worth

Yes, 68 frames are different mostly on the rear.

You would need to change or modify the front horns to accept the radiator support, and the rear member where the bumpers bolt is totally different. If you have a foot or so off the rear of a midyear frame, It would make it easier.

ok so we have the oem 67 frame front is hammered but from the front weels back is ok. so we could graft the rear of the 67 to the 69? i guess i should bring the 2 cars togather to compare.
