Default Feel my pain

As I rebuild my heater box and install some damplifier pro and luxury liner pro and a new stereo system.

Here is picture of the easy part. Tearing eveything out.

Actually that part really wasn't that easy. Dam there was a lot of glue on the floorboards.

Your real pain is that vampire clamp on the blue wire and the wire nut on the red wire.
Do it right

Don't you worry all of those "mods" will be fixed.

Default I know I haven't touched the bubba wires

But I am making some progress

I cn believe how much dam glue is on the firewall. Rebuilding the heater box this week and then finishing the firewall insulation and moving on to the wiring and stereo.

Brings back memories!
I went through all that about 11 months ago!
You'll be amazed at how much cooler it will be in the cockpit with the heat barrier and a resealed heater box.

Wash out all the heater tubes and heater box while it's out of the car too! I was lucky. Only had leaves and 1/8 inch of dust in my heating system. I have heard stories of fossilized critters and worse in the heater boxes. Just think, your breathing all that in.

Also check out your heater core while you've gone this far. Mine was beginning to leak and I would not have known it till too late if I hadn't been in there looking around. You won't want antifreeze on that new carpet.

Looking good though!

Default you guys are so right

Why anyone would tear it apart this far and not rebuild everything I have no idea. I've got a new heater box seal kit and heater core (Delco) and have washed out all the ducts. It should be a lot nicer ride when I get done. oh yea new upper and lower shift boots also.
