If you do not have a baffle on the PCV side nor room for one can I place sort of filter element in a breather cap with a PCV installed in it (such as billet specialties offers) to take the place of the baffle in the valve cover?
Last year I ran the cap with the PCV routed to a vacuum inlet in the carb base but without any baffler nor filter. However when I tore the heads down down the valves were covered in crud after only 2000 miles.
I figured I was sucking oil into the motor and have considered installing a vacuum catch can or pump of some sort to keep from allowing oil into the intake
I noticed on my new eninge oil build up from the PCV all over the place and also causing slight run-on. After I installed two new K&N breathers, no more run on and I'm sure no oily build up either.
