engine swap
Hey guys, Has any swaped a 1985 corvette engine into a 1979 corvette? A friend a a 85 vett that was hit in the front, and said he would sell me the motor and trans and all that I need. Is this a hard swap? any Help would be great.

The 1985 engine was a TPI fuel injection. You can install the whole thing top to bottom but you'll need the harness wiring and computer and splice it all into your car. You'll need an electric fuel pump, O2 sensors...and a few other small details to get it to work but it'll bolt right in.
