OK so when I was wiring in my FM Modulator I found I had additional items in the other accessory ports on the fuse block. One was a brown wire with an additional accessory tap, the other was pink with a black stripe with an additional accessory tap. I couldn't figure what they went to and wondered what bubba might have been up to. Now I've got my doc rebuild full color wiring diagram and I think I found them. That is what I'm looking to confirm.
It appears these are how the power windows and defroster are connected to the fuse block?
In the picture below the extra tap has been electical taped to the main wire by the previous owner in order to keep it out of the way.
I'm just finished rewiring a 68 and there are BATT, IGN and ACC taps in the center of the fuse block. They will be used to hook up the HEI, electric choke, tranny kickdown and radio memeory lead.
Your's should be very similar and they can be used to tap in other items that are properly fused because these taps are unfused. Also do not overload these taps with high current draw items.
The BATT tap is hot all of the time, the IGN is only hot when the key is in the run position and the ACC terminal is hot both in the ACC and run position. At least the 68 is and your's is probably the same.
The fuse box has the tap so an acessory can be installed by the factory or the dealer. The extra pigtail on the acessory harness is there for the "next" acessory yet to be installed which will also have a pigtail on it as well for the "next, next acessory" and so on.
You would gang up a string of acessories on one fuse box tap.

Hope this helps,

Used my brown lead you have pictured to wire in my dual cooling fans during the install.
