80 - 82 bumpers on a 77?
Will the front bumper / spoiler from an 80 - 82 bolt on to a 77? I am pretty sure that the back bumper will.
I want a better air dam / spoiler on the front of my 77 but I don't like the look of the pace car spoiler. The 80 - 82 does not look like an aftermarket add on. Will both bumpers fit without major modifications?

No a 80-82 front bumper will not bolt up. The front fenders are completely different forward of the wheels. Someone used to make a custom, fiberglass front bumper that looked like the 80-82 bumper and bolted to the 75-79 nose, but it lacked the spoiler, so it would defeat the purpose of what you want to do. Without the flare on the sides and the spoiler under it, this aftermarket bumper aways looked a little awkward to me.
To use a 80-82 bumper you need to modify the top center of your front surround and the front sides of your fenders.

I knew I'd seen it, it's in the Corvette America catalog from last summer. It's no a 100% look a like, but it's close.
If you know a good fiberglass guy/shop, they might be able to make it work.

thanks for the compliment
the front ones fasten in just like the stock 80-82's do....the front bumper is from ecklers, i will have to drill a hole where the side lamp goes so i can use the speednut to hold it on from the inside.
