Well, to start its Vibration with a V. Next, did you watch them to make sure the new tires ballanced out correctly with little or no runout?
Next thing to look at would be U-Joints.
Oh and the C4 section might be more help
I can attest to a u-joint causing a vibration. I had a barely noticeable vibration at ~45 MPH for years and finally solved it when I found a u-joint cap on the drive shaft was just a bit tight. I disassembled, re-greased and put it back together correctly and the vibration was gone.
Now, if you could describe the vibration a bit more there may be other suggestions. Is your vibration just noticeable or is the steering wheel shaking?
Had a vibration in my 73 between 57-63 MPH after many trials and errors replaced the rear spring raising the rear and the vibration quit. Not only stopped the vibration, but it looks better.
