Default VBP Smart Struts

Following another thread here where it was asked what the MINIMUM drop using a Smart Strut was and someone answered 1". Do I have that right? Other things I've read indicate a 1/2" drop is desirable and that a 1 " drop and zeroing out your camber wouldn't be what you would want in any type of road race/ autoxr app. Along the same line would simply updating the bracket on my C2 to a C3 camber rod bracket accomplish the same thing with (or without?) a spacer?

My S.T. came with an adjustment cam on the inner diff cross mount. So you could vary the amount of camber gain on the verticel movement of the wheel.

I've had mine set for minimal camber gain

Changing the bracket from the C2 to one from the C3 will drop your setting about 1". Now you are at the point where most say you want to be a 1/2" lower. So yes, a C3 bracket and a 1/2" spacer may be what you want. Do you now or plan to autoX your car? I guess the final set up depends on how you intend to use it.

Building it with autox in mind.
