Default Anyone use Blueprint engines?

My 406 I was planning on running in my vette has some short block issues. To get the project done faster and cheaper, I was considering a blueprint 383 shortblock, sold on summit (Click here). Anybody use this brand before? Sounds good and the price is right. I was going to transfer my sportsman II's and top end to this and sell the good stuff left over from the 406 to recoup some of the money. Any thoughts?

Well, we had this whole drama with msvetteman wrecking his marshall engines/blueprint block with what was obviously detonation damage, cracking the bore and all. He set the timing "by ear" then he posted a thread here asking what could have caused the damage and it was implied that the keith black hyper pistons were to blame or the ring gap was too tight when in all reality it was a timing issue leading to engine overheating and detonation but marshall folded and gave him a new block, when in all likelyhood he messed it up himself.

Or even better, they have an all forged short block that would handle my hp range better...http://www.blueprintengines.com/popu...specs&pc_id=81
