80 air cleaner offset needed?

80 air cleaner offset needed?
Hello, I'm looking into getting a chrome open element style air cleaner for my 80. I know that I need a drop base style, but do I need one that is offset as well. I'm looking at these.

I purchased an offset, dropped aluminum air cleaner base off of E-Bay for $15 from Race Basics. It fits the Q-Jet on my 1979, L-82 perfect. It gives me a lot of hood clearance and the 14" air cleaner element is offset from the distributor.
