What gear ratio?

I thought i had 3.08 gear ratio but i cruise 70 at about 2900 rpm
Is this correct or no?

It most likly is. The stall converter will cause an increase in rpm's so that may be why they are higher than stock would be.

I can offer this: My Stock Converter '76 hits abt 3K at 70mph, which works out to a 3.55 rear :yesnod: :flag :seeya

I'm around 3200 RPM at 70 with 3.55's and a 2400 stall converter.
