review your plan, how many amps are you gonna pull with that super duper fan?
you most likely will need a relay and some good wire, Not just any old 12 volts.
engine compartment, or inside the car?

If you're needing a switched IGN or ACC signal to turn on a relay then you have a couple good options.

The most usable are the spare terminals on the fuse panel, labeled ACC and IGN. Both are switched and open for you to tap into.

If you don't want to run the wire that far, you can tap into the yellow wire from the wiper motor circuit for IGN switched power.

I managed to get hold of my engine builder last night, and thats what he suggested use either the ign or acc spare terminals on the fuse box
