I can get my bumber to fit right. It feels like I have no more adjustment in order to suck the skin flush with the fiberglass.
Please review pics..... It's driving me nuts....
If this is a fiberglass replacement, it has to go over the metal "edge" close to the body. Also, even more important, if you are still using the rubber front cone underneath, then that has to be "ground down" to accomodate the new rigid fiberglass bumper. Every oe is different and mine took a lot of customizing to get it right. You should definitely try and use all of these support things in front. Also had to grind down the outside ones by the corners.

When I replaced mine, I ditched the old formed retainers. For $30 or so you can buy a kit of individual retainers from Mid-America. This helped me alot. I've heard others say that they had to cut up the big rubber crash cushions on the car to get a non-OE bumper to fit. Mine was trueflex, it fit just fine with no trimming. Dumb luck maybe?
It looks like you have replaced some of the brackets and other bracing. Are they the correct dimensions, correct for your year? Your sway bar should not affect the bumper mounts.
