Default Diff side yoke question

If the splined end is wore down .060 or so will this cause any damage if they are,nt replaced right away.I am getting some loud clicking or binding sounds when i make a hard left, just going slow. Can,t tell exactly were it,s comin from back there but i do know my Rh yoke is worn.

If you are worn down that far, the hardened material on the yoke is gone and it will wear faster. It sounds like the posi unit is chattering, have you tried changing the oil and adding some GM posi additive?

Could also be failed UJ bearings, and removing a driveshaft to check is free and relatively easy.

Spindle bearings, u-joints ring and pinoin everything is new but the side yokes. But it does sound like a bearing failing not sure why or what mite have caused it waundering if the side yoke has something to do with it.
