when you put the word "C O R V E T T E" near anything in an ebay item
description they eat it up...... :D
also....plaster a no reserve all over the auction and they will get into a bidding frenzy over it...I do everytime...yeah you risk not getting a set amount...but I have never had that issue...if you describe it well and take a digital picture...I have always made double what I thought i was going to get for an item...matter of fact...i just sold 5 items on ebay last week and made over $500, helps buy more mods for the vette... :lol: :lol:

The no reserve advice by ylose is dead on. If you set a relatively low entry price with no reserve, it creates a bidding frenzy. Its amazing....you can have two identical items, one with high entry & a reserve price & the other with a low entry & no reserve....the low/no will get all the bids & sell at a higher price than the high/yes one. Sometimes the high/yes won't even get any bids! Its psychological warfare. Once they're in, bidders get caught up in it & it becomes a "competition" & they don't want to lose.
Advise you do some searches of completed items & see what your item has sold for. You can also look at the bidding history to get a feel for how it progressed.
I've bought & sold on eBay with excellent success. As for those of you that refuse to utilize eBay as one of the tools to obtain parts, personally I think you're missing out on a good thing but that's fine with me because it leaves more parts for ME! :D

i personnaly have gotten a few great deals at e-bay..1980 radiator support frame for $60,chrome licence frame (same as ones in ecklers for $25) $10,ect,ect,..also sold a few parts i didnt need..but have been ripped one time and had a non-payer one time..but i do agree the no reserve auctions are the ones that get the most attention :D
