If QA-1 would make a shorter 700 lbs coil over spring I would test it. But call QA-1 and ask them what springs they recommmend and they are stuck on this spring weight per front end pound chart. they claim that a lapping vette can't even use a 450#. I have the 550# and need to cut about an inch out of it.
You can always bulldoze the springs to shorten them to the desired height.

gkull, I've gone thru some of the same oiling issues here, and have an Accusump ready to install myself. 8-qt, 5-gate, "RR" pan won't quite cope...
I swear I ran across a source somewhere for 700's with a free weight set for C3's when Yellow73SB ended up with short ones, but maybe I just dreamed it 'cause I can't find any notes on it...

Oh really? How much smoother can I be? In a lower powered car your not really racing are you? This video doesn't really show what it is really like in the car when your going over the rumble strips at 120 mph. All you hear is the sound at the start of the video
I only 3-4-5 gears around this 4.2 mile track. With a top speed of mid 150 mph. Also those squealing tires ar Hoosier R-6 slicks 295/35/17 in front and 335/18 rear
