I have a 75 C3 Convertible and the forward window guide roller has come loose from the window. I need advice on how to get the window out. I have the Haynes manual and the factory assembly manual, but they only help a little. haynes says to remove sash screws through holes in door panel (see illustration), but there is no corresponding illustration. Rik's Parts catalog shows all the parts I need for about $10, but I cannot get the window out to replace them.
Not real familiar with a 75 but here's what I would try.
Roll window up so that you have access to the nuts bolting window to sash.
Mark fixed attach points so you can put it back to original position
Tape window up in place,or have a helper hold it.
Remove nuts from rollers and replace them one at a time.
Service manual will be your best bet for how to properly accomplish this task
the nuts holding the glass to the guides are on the back side of the glass(facing the outer door skin) so you have to roll the window about halfway up and reach under the glass to get to the nuts . at least thats how i did it.
pmullaly- where in mesa are you? i'm near gilbert/mckellips

I took the bottom cover off, rolled the window halfway up and got it apart. Had to take the top stop off to get the roller out, but its done.
