You should find the casting date on the bellhousing flange up near the distributor hole. Don't have my books handy, but 351 is a Corvette block as I recall. Chuck

WESCH,
3904351 is a casting code for a 1967 427 block. Used for 2 and 4 bolt main blocks, HP dependant upon application.

Where are you seeing the H5460 and H3450 numbers?

Should also be some stamped numbers on a casting boss by the water pump, these will tell date and application.
Post any other numbers and I will try to decipher for you.
Hope this helps,

DaBo

Date code actually moved there in mid-69, earlier big blocks will have the date code down on the right lower side of the block near the freeze plug and starter.
