agreed, a typo, the 1983 was the prototype for the C4, i think there is only one left.

Still though, coming from the corvette museum, thats a pretty bad typo to make.

Infact, I would even say it might have been the retarded web guy who thought, "1973 to 1982 but then the next sign is 1984-1996?" And changed it to '83 himself.

That's more likely. I have a numbered lithograph from Zips that has the C1-C6 generations shown, it says 1997 under a C4, must mean 1987. I noticed mine is numbered pretty low, the ones at Zip's show room have it corrected, they must have noticed later in the printing run.
