On two consecutive weekends my 1/4 mile trap speed increased from 101 mph to 110 mph. ET dropped by 4 tenths as well.
The only change was running through repo factory sidepipes on the first weekend and allowing the exhaust to exit through a 14 inch collector on the second.
Anyone else experience anything similar with these pipes or other type of exhaust?
I tried the 3" auger mufflers from speedway. This was on a 3" mandrel bent x-pipe system with 2" headers that turndown in front of the back axle. Lost 5 MPH and .4 in the eighth mile, back to back testing. Did a good job of taming the sound but killed the power. Ron B.
