First time running in 5 years
Problem 1 Shes idling really hard and power seems really low, i know an 82 is not a power house but this seems pretty damn bad i doubt i could get her up to 60 what could some problems be here? I know i need a new exhaust and ill be adding on headers too but i cant imagine such a huge power loss from just this.
I have filled her up with premium and a bit of dry gas and am running daily. It seems to get a little better every day but not enough.
Ill be putting in new spark plugs today as well.
problem 2 headlights come up but extremley slow it takes about 25 sec for them to fully open.

problem 3 windows just dont work at all

problem 4 time urggg im not even an old guy yet how can i not have any time in the day to work on my toy!

problem 5... well i expected this and i still get frustrated

however: change that oil/filter/pcv if you haven't already. I mean you might as well since you did the plugs! Did you change out the inline or carb gas filter? THEN GO BACK TO THE GARAGE YOU TOOK IT TO SMACK THE MECH IN HIS PIE HOLE FOR DOING NOTHING!!
since mine sits so long I've changed it every year. Sometimes you get moisture inside those door pannels and the connection **** get alittle fudged up, just clean those up with a brass brush, if that isn't it check the fuses and your ground. As for the lights I got tired of messing around with mine and during my gut job of the interior, I redid my entire light system new!! problem solved!
You say about the shop that "they got everything running". That's pretty vague - the more info you can supply to Forum members, the better we can help solve problems. Depending on previous maintenance such as oil changes, maybe a lifter plunger is sticking due to hardened oil sludge. As stated already, oil change and filter should have been done - hopefully by the shop.
You said it gets a little better each day so maybe still some old gas in the system. Did they change the fuel filter? If not, do it soon. Get as much fresh gas in there as possible and maybe some fuel system cleaner as well.
BTW, IMO, any time you just drop off a car - especially a Corvette - at a shop and just say fix it because you don't have the time to do it yourself, you are taking a chance on incomplete and/or unsatisfactory work and inflated charges.

An engine that has been stored for long periods will run rough for a while. After it's been put back into regular service, it will run better & have more power.
First thing: Run a couple of tanks of gas through her and change the fuel filter. Then change the plugs after that.
