I like those, I wish they had the ones with the back-up lights as well, would be nice if they all matched.

I read somewhere that you will need to change your flasher as the LED's don't draw enough current through the flasher to cause it to pulse correctly.

I have them and this is correct. You need an 'electronic' flasher as opposed to a 'mechanical' which functions in reaction to a higher current draw than that of the LEDs.

I am pretty lazy at times lol, but I have a '79 with the 80-82 style rear, so no back-up for me

I think the price is per pair, and you can get an electronic flasher ay Auto Zone or other parts houses for less than $18. I have led blinkers on my bike all the way around, I added an electronic flasher and placed a resistor in the circuit to make up for the difference in resistance between led and incandescent bulbs. Keeping regular bulbs in front and sides and adding the led rear, I don't think the resistor would be needed.

I see it now. The singular wording of the description threw me off:

Awesome new LED tail light insert for the 1980-82 Vette!
Yeh, $89 per pair is a pretty good deal.

I just ordered a set, will let you guys know how they work out. I'm also going to email them and see if they have any in the works for later C3's with back-up lights so all 4 will match, maybe with enough interest they will produce those as well. Can't hurt to try.

Or you can just install four taillights and mount some small lights under the bumper for the back-ups.

Those look pretty neat. I personally just order a couple multi-LED bulbs with the proper socket. It looks basically stock but it is a deeper red since the LEDs are red as well as the cover. Did the same for the reverse lights except with white LEDs of course, and that made the reverse lights much brighter and whiter, so everyone around will know if I'm trying to backup.

I paid about $80 to replace just about every bulb in the car (interior and exterior) compared to $89 for just a pair of taillights...
