BBC crank casting question..
I 've been looking for a used forged crank for a 454. I 've found out that casting numbers 3521, 7116, and 7416 are common forged steel cranks that chevrolet used. My question: Is casting #7416 the same as #3967416?

Yes. All the numbers you listed are the last 4 digits on the number.
I do not see 7116 as a 454 Forging. 7114 and 7115 are 3.75 stroke.
3520, 3521 and 7416 are 454 Forged cranks.

I've been looking on google like crazy and couldn't find an answer and I just wanted to be sure that I'm getting a forged crank.

I dont suppose you would be interested in a set of the dimpled hi-perf 7/16" big block rods with forged ls-6 (?) pistons. Was the only big block stuff we didnt sell at long beach last week.
