When I was restoring my 72, I bought two door shells from a 74 for $500 for both, Some guy from detroit shipped them to NJ for me. Just the shells, no glass, no guts. I already had the other stuff, just needed the shells, Had to strip and paint also. 72 had no safety bar but other than that they were the same.

Make sure they are not rusted out where the weatherstrip attaches. That changes the value. Good coupe shells $100-250 each, glass maybe $75 but a PITA to ship.

I'm sorry to go off topic, but 65 DENCO, I am in love with your car. It is by far my favorite car on the forum (just going by the pictures of course)

I find bare coupe shells to be $100.00 to 200.00 depending on condition. 68 and conv about twice that. Complete doors also about twice that (200.00 to 400.00) again, depending on condition. Just a quick question, you did said the doors had remote mirrors, are you referring to sport type mirrors? These were first offered in 77, though the "Astro Ventilation" wasn't used on the glass after 74. Coupe doors are the same from 69-77. 68's and 78-82 differ.

Each or a pair are you saying?
Yep mirrors must have been put on. The doors are loaded/power and very good shape, no rust no de-lam. (no door panels) I was offered 250 for both. I may have to re think that offer. Thanks to all who answered..

Wow 65 DENCO, I am in awe of your car. That must be incredible to drive. I really hope one day I have the time and money to build something like that. I'm sure it is much better in person. I grew up in CA, but because of my job I don't find myself out there much more than once or twice a year. Maybe I'll catch it at a car show sometime.
