header to system pipe
i have a new set of hedman headers sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.
i already have a new 2.5 inch magnaflow system from corvettecentral in.
since i have to remove the front pipes that connect to the oem manifolds what do i use to connect the pipes to the headers.
i was looking at these.

Since every set of headers is differant, I don't believe you can buy a universal header hook up pipe. What I did, I installed the headers and new exhaust system on the car. Then drove the car to a speed shop that had a exhaust pipe bending machine. The speed shop bent up and installed a 2 1/2 header hook up pipe for me.

You might cut back your exhaust pipe until its clear of your header system but still close enough for a good exhaust shop to make an adapter to fit between the two. Any decent local shop should be able to help you out.

What I did was to take the piece of pipe left over after the header was installed and carried that piece with me to the exhaust shop. They cut the pipe shorter to make it about the length and was able to tweak it just a little. They were able to make it fit perfectly and I am happy.
