My carb arrived! :D Not too much to do and I'll have her running again (last of top-end rebuild/replacement effort (see photo/sig).
I placed the carb on the Performer AirGap, placed the factory drop base air cleaner bottom, the K&N, the chrome lid all on - the hood still closed! Hurrah!
BUT I think, as Edelbrock says, I need the 90degree fuel fitting for the carb and the linkage on the choke side is extremely close - might hit.
So, those of you with Edelbrock 1405's (manual choke - I won't even run one for now) on small blocks - what air filter setup worked best?
Off to the parts store....(they know be by name now!)...
Folks - also any idea why Edelbrock says you need that thin plate between the carb and manifold? This is the #2732. With it you need two gaskets... Curious.
