Default AFR Motor Build

Hey All,

Looking to stroke the humble 355 to 383 or more and to base the build around my current heads, 195 Eliminators with 75cc chambers. Ideal compression would be around 10:1, pump gas friendly, and high 300s to the wheels. So what would all you motorheads piece together for this, based on the heads I'll be using? Pistons, crank, rods, cam, intake, and carb?

Thanks!

Those heads will support 500 horsepower, so it depends on how much you really want since you are basically starting new.

My previous 383 used AFR 195s, Comp Cams 286HR hyd. roller, RPM Air Gap manifold, and Mighty Demon 825 carb. Compression was 10.9:1 so 93 octane was used. Rear wheel HP was 373, and w/4.11 gears ran 11.6's in the 1/4. The car idled at 850 rpm, with good vacuum and excellent streetability. Also, check AFR's website....there are some combos listed there that may give you some ideas.
