help me mod. a '77
I am in the process of updateing a '77. I will be installing a 5 speed trans. (change over from auto.) Steeroids and side pipes.
apparently the sidepipes get in the way of the rack & pinion and the
z bar for the clutch gets in the way of the side pipes.
??
is there any particular order that would make things easier to install

Maybe consider swapping to a hydraulic clutch. I have a bit of info on what it takes to do the swap easy and cheap using some salvage yard parts including an older truck bell housing, a Honda Civic master, truck slave and fork...and it should all clear just fine.
