Can anyone tell me how to remove the old and replace the "L" style window seals that are attached to the sail plate (the seal which the window rests on at the back just above the door handles)? The seal is about 8-10 inches long.
There are no screws that I can see and the new seals do not have any obvisious holes to mount with. I suspect it is just glued in but do not want to start prying away and hope it pops off.
If memory serves me correct, they are riveted on from the inside of the car. You need to take the side interior panel off that goes up the side and across the read of the roof panel. Drill the head of the rivet off to remove it and make sure you use a shallow rivet to install the new piece.
