Gas Gauge Problem
The gas gauge on my 80 bounces all over the scale. Replace sending unit and
still have the same problem. I was wondering if this is common for my year?
I am guessing that its caused by the gas sloshing in the tank. When I replaced the sending unit I saw no baffle in the tank that would supress it.

Can't really help you, because I have been trying to fix mine also. My '81's gas guage jumps back and forth a quater tank while driving, but while idling, it stays still. I have no idea what it is. I believe mine might be a bad connection to the sending unit. :confused: :confused:
