First, what model year is the 700? GM did some upgrades in late 88 production that really helped them last. The newer upgraded parts WILL fit directly, no extra work, just some added $$.
It will bolt in no problem- the x-member is in the wrong place and the driveshaft is too long, so it takes a little fabrication. You'll also need to add the TV cable brackets to the intake and carb, and figure out the TCC- there are kits to make it 100% hydraulic or you can set it up with power and pressure switches so it has to see 4th gear and xx road speed.
