for my complete list of parts used for the job.
If you do some post searching you will find a variety of responses to quality and fit of fiberglass bumpers. I did that same kind of post search research and thought that a Truflex fiberglass bumper was the ticket and a money saver. Though, I did save a chunk of change instead of buying the $550 polyurethane original bumper, I was incredibly disappointed with the fit, the front bumper is about 1/4" short width wise across the front of my 73.
Personally, I think these bumpers SUCK!!!!! I bought my bumper cover at swap meet, and so got no receipt. Even so, I had to do so much trimming and fitting to find that it is CRAP, that I figured I would stuck with it anyway, which is why I didn't try to return.
Do your homework and be prepared for disappointments either way, or pay a pro to do the job, so you can ensure they make you happy with the fit, and they have the frustration and not you BEFORE you have it painted.
Class your homework WILL be checked, so make sure you do your research assignment!
Be cool!
