PSCV adjustment
The power steering control valve adjustment will only center the control valve, the top stud will have play in it and it is the pressure presented on this stud by the pitman arm that controls the internal workings of the power steering control valve pressure.
Are you sure you don’t have a problem in your steering gear box? Is the steering gear lash adjusted properly? I’m wondering now if you were referring to the power steering control valve or the gear box?
What exactly is the car doing? Is it wondering when you drive it, pulling hard to one side etc. . . .
I doubt you are getting three defective valves. If you think the problem is in the gear box, here is a link on how to adjust it. http://willcoxcorvette.com/repairand...lp.php?hID=204

You might check the casting number on the pitman arm too! Power steering pitman is different from the non power steering unit. I'm not sure if this would cause this problem. Is the power steering on the car factory?
Power steering pitman arm p/n is 3741383, non power steering casting number is 3829451. Power steering pitman arm is on the left in both pictures.
I had it today on the alignment rack and the mechanic showed me as you turn the wheel how the rod connecting to the pitman arm on the gear box moves way too much and causes play in the wheel.
Every part is new in the suspension except the power steering control valve which just had a new seal and strap put on.
Main question to this problem is...
When the pitman arm moves should the rest of the linkage move at the same time, or is there movment at the pscv before the rest moves?
Mine right now moves side to side before it causes the rest of the front end parts to move. (Play)?
