Default how to get clutch fork on pivot ball

Guys how do you get the clutch fork on the pivot ball on the bell housing,is there a trick or easier way to do this other then me fighting for a while to get it on.What is the proper way to do this and the throwout bearing to.

I would say put small amount of grease on pivot ball bottom, make sure clip two prongs are under ball, then maybe a rubber mallet and force the fork toward the centerline of bellhousing with one good smack.

Shouldnt be too difficult.

So is that how you do it ,hit it with a rubber mallet?Thats basically how i do it but i hit it with my hand and it hurts after a while of hitting it.I thought there was a trick to it.

Do you mean slide the forks over the pivot ball side ways?if so i did that but after i did it you cant get the fork to slide into the throwout bearing.The only way i could get it to work was to put the throwout bearing into the fork and at the same time put the fork and bearing on to the output shaft ,slide down and then beat the fork to get it on the pivot ball.Is there another way
