im using one of these coolers with a 3 inch deep transmission pan. do you think these coolers work well or do you like the small radiator style coolers better. i have been driving it for 12 months without any trouble but am just curious as to how efficient they are.i did away with the lines going into the radiator ages ago.
I had a temp sender JB welded (kind of like metal Epoxy glue) to my 700R4 case. It takes a big cooler with lots of air flow to keep the tranny below 200.
I put my Air Conditioner condenser back in the car. It's aluminum and weighs little. Then I plumbed my my trans lines to it. Instant cool trans. Not an option if you still have ac however.

not a bad idea beejay but god you must have about 10 buckets full of dexron3 in that system now.
