If you need to know something it definite(was gonna spell garanteed but that ain't right) that someone here will know about it or hook you up with someone who does.
I agree!!! There is nowhere else on earth so many people can stay in touch and discuss repairs, paint, vendors, parts, shows, etc. than right here on this CorvetteForum. I usually get an answer quicker here than looking it up in a book or magazine!!! You just won't find the experience and knowledge of all these C3 owners in any Corvette book-best place for any info!!! :yesnod:
I hadn't really put any serious money into my Vette for a while, until I happened upon this site........now I can stop buying :yesnod: I'm even going to have a turbocharger installed for some added speed.
This place it hopelessly addictive. Infact I need to quit hanging out in the C4 forum so that I can get back to working on my C3. Nothing like stopping in here for a bit of inspiration! :D
Your are so right, this place is fanatastic. It really changed my view that Vette owners were stuck up promodonna's. This C3 section is filled with guys who REALLY work on their own cars and know more about their car than just where to put the gas in them. And most times you get quality answers to your questions which are help, unlike the stupid responses I have gotten about my 87 and 86 Trans Ams I have received in regards to questions I posed on another forum. Though, I think the quality of the vehicle we are dealing with is directly proportionate to the quality of response you get.
Too many snot nosed, know it all, arrogant punks with loud base pounding stereos own F-bodies and that is a real turn off for me, which makes me embarrassed to admit that I own 2 and love driving them as an alternative to my 73, but that's just my own opinionated opinion!
Be Cool!
